Description
Struggling against the inevitability of a nursing home, 90 year old Hagar Shipley alternates between confronting her own mortality and looking back upon what she sees as a frightening series of personal failures. Haunted by the ghosts of the past, Hagar at first cannot willingly accept her present, but a series of encounters coupled with reflection upon her relationships allow her to find a measure of grace and peace as she nears the end of her life.
