Gael Garcia Bernal and Veronica Echegui lead this charming Mexican comedy based on the novel "Deserted Cities" by José Agustín.

Eligio (Bernal), a charming actor and unfaithful husband, wakes up one day to find that his wife, Susana (Echegui), has disappeared and left no hint of her whereabouts. When he eventually discovers that she is staying at a university in Iowa to pursue her dreams of being a writer, he drops everything to track her down and win his wife back.
